The rail freight industry decided to undertake a strategic review of its major risks to steer its collaborative focus and resourcing over the next 3-5 years. We needed a well respected and experienced lead who could bring together stakeholders, inject intellectual rigour and provide us with a jointly signed off piece of work. George was professional, thorough and tenacious in his approach and execution. From the review he led us through the Freight Safe Programme was born.
